  • How do I become a Certified Instructor in one of your courses?
    From time-to-time we offer Instructor Certification courses taught in person by a Certified Instructor Trainer. For class schedule information, please contact us.
  • As an administrator, how can I be sure my employees and volunteers are actually completing the online course?"
    Our online course platform uses state-of-the-art technology that only reveals a portion of the course at a time and only after all PRIOR portions of the course are completed. The last portion of any course is the final exam and then the certificate of completion. A certificate of completion will not be issued for download until the course is 100% complete, including a passing exam grade. During video portions, our platform does not allow a student in the course to progress or "fast-forward"--it must be watched in real time.
  • How do you know if a student is actually watching the video and not just pressing play and walking away?
    During any videos, our platform will randomly pause the video and display a popup box on their screen. These popup boxes are simple questions over the course material that must be answered within 30 seconds. Failure to respond to the popup box within 30 seconds will result in the session ending and all progress erased for that video. When the student logs back in, they will be forced to re-watch the video from the beginning.
  • Can I take an online course any time?
    Online courses are available to complete at your own pace 24 hours a day!
  • Once I complete a course online, will I continue to have access to the course material?"
    Yes! Once you purchase a course online, you will have access to all of the course materials for 90 days after completion.
  • If I take Behavior Management and Crisis Prevention through the online course, how long does my certification last?"
    Your certification will expire 2 years after your completion date.
  • Are your online classes supported by mobile devices?
    Yes! Our course software runs through a web browser and is supported on mobile browsers.
  • Can I purchase an online course for one of my employees or volunteers?
    Yes! Simply go to our online course portal and sign up as a new user. You will enter the employee or volunteer's information and set a password for them. You will then be brought to a list of courses currently available to register for. Select the course you are purchasing and click the "Register Now" button, enter your payment information, and you are all set! Simply provide the employee or volunteer with the password you created and they can log in and comlete the course!
  • If I have mulitple employees or volunteers to take the online course at the same time, do I need to create a separate account for each student taking the course?"
    Yes. In order for each student to receive credit for the course and receive their certificate of completion, every student must have a separate account setup in the online course portal. The student information entered during the account setup will be what is automatically used to issue the certificate of completion.
  • Once a student completes an online course, can another student take the course using the original account?"
    After the original student completes the course, he/she will be issued a certificate of completion with their personal information (as determined during account setup). If a second student logged on to the original account, they would have access to the course materials for 90 days after the original student completed the course, but would not be able to take the final exam and would not be issued a certificate of completion.
  • If I purchase an online course for one of my employees or volunteers, how will I, as the company, get a copy of their certificate of completion?"
    Once the student completes the course, the certifcate of completion will be available for them to download as a PDF. Simply instruct them email it to someone in your company (or they could print it and give to someone in your company).
