The Behavior Management & Crisis Prevention Curriculum is a course designed to empower staff and volunteers of residential care facilities with the tools necessary to prevent and manage behavior leading up to and including high-energy crisis situations.
This curriculum is the only one of its type written from a Christian perspective. This curriculum utilizes principles found in Scripture to deal with acting-out or agitated individuals as well as over 15 years of hands-on experience in residential care.
Six Sessions Covering Topics Like:

The main contributing factors in society that have played a role in the increase of negative behavior in today’s children and teens.

The significance of establishing and building relationships with the individuals you work with in your facility.

The various levels of behavior an individual experiences leading up to and during a crisis situation.

Techniques in effectively de-escalating each negative behavior level.

How effective communication can serve to de-escalate acting out or agitated individuals.

The importance of caring for yourself in relation to preventing crisis situations.
